ISTANBUL - For more than 6.1 million Americans having a baby is not as easy as they expected. More and more couples in the United States are having to use medical methods in order to conceive a child. For example, in Turkey doctors can implant up to 3 embryos per IVF treatment, as opposed to only one in the US. This cuts the cost of IVF by over 69%.
Hospitals in Turkey also have other techniques that they use in order to increase the pregnancy rate and to deal with other fertility related health problems. These procedures include:
In the United States the FDA has yet to approve some these fertility treatments even though they are common practice in Europe and they have proven low risk factors and high success rates.
