What is Fat Injection?Fat Injection is a procedure whereby fat is removed (Liposuction) from one area of your own body (typically from the abdomen or inner thighs) and injected back into other areas, restoring a smooth and rejuvenated appearance. Where can I get Fat Injection? All prices are in US dollars and include the cost of the procedure and minimum hospital stay. Estimates and minimum hospital stay will vary depending upon individual needs and requirements.
How do Fat Injections work?Soft-tissue fillers, most commonly Fat Injections, can help fill in lines, wrinkles and creases, temporarily restoring a smoother, more youthful appearance. When injected beneath the skin, these fillers plump up creased and sunken areas of the face. They can also add fullness to the lips and cheeks. Fat Injections may be used alone or in conjunction with a resurfacing procedure, such as a Laser Resurfacing, or a Cosmetic Surgery recontouring procedure, such as a Face Lift. Who is an ideal candidate for Fat Injections? If you are a man or a woman who is psychologically stable, in good physical health, with scarring, sagging or wrinkling of facial skin (e.g. laugh lines, smile lines, crow's feet or facial creases), if you are missing some of the youthful plumpness or high contours on the face (e.g. sunken eyes, droopy eyelids, sunken cheeks), then you are an ideal candidate for Cosmetic Treatment with Fat Injections. What does the procedure for Fat Injections involve?Administration of Fat Injections is a three step procedure which is performed under local anesthesia and / or sedation on an out patient basis in a Medical Centre or a clinic. Depending on the extent of the procedure, Fat Injections normally take about 30 - 60 minutes.
What to expect after Fat Injection procedure?Depending on the area, there may be mild to moderate pain or discomfort in the area treated with Fat Injections. There will be some swelling, bruising or redness in both the donor and recipient sites. The swelling and puffiness in the recipient site may last several weeks, especially if a large area was filled. Any redness that appears in the injected site usually disappears within 24 hours. However, in some individuals, particularly fair-skinned patients, this redness may persist for a week or more. Tiny scabs may also form over the needle-stick areas; these generally heal quickly. What is the outcome of Fat Injections?Provided you have realistic expectations, you will be very satisfied with the results of your Fat Injection treatments. The results of Fat Injections vary from six months to a year when half of the injected fullness disappears. Therefore, repeated Fat Injections may be necessary. B . R . A . N . D . of Fat Injection
